Gene and Sylvia joined Camino Global in 1968. They are school teachers and have been teaching and training Hispanics for the past 40 years. They serve the Hispanic community in and around Goshen/Elkhart, Indiana.
Leader Training, Evangelism, Children, and Women's Ministries
Gene and Sylvia's service with Camino Global started in El Salvador in 1968. Since then, they have served in Costa Rica at the Bible Institute, in Panama in evangelism, and in Guatemala in teaching.
Gene has served in and help found several Bible Institutes, including a Hispanic Bible Institute in the Goshen/Elkhart, Indiana in 2007, where he now serves. He has also had an international ministry of literature distribution. He has also served on the National Directive Committee.
Sylvia worked with children and women's ministries, and has headed up the Bible correspondence school. She organized a summer missionary program, to send young people out to host Vacation Bible Schools all over the country. Now Sylvia is busy teaching and directing in Happy Day Clubs in the public school system. Her ministries in church include women's work and music.
