Hope through discipleship and learning to learn in Guatemala

Judy's passion is to make the Bible real and help every person learn. The Christian Academy of Guatemala serves the children of missionaries and has chosen to maintain this focus. Here, she uses an individual approach (NILD Educational Therapy www.nild.org) to directly address specific learning struggles for any age student. This enables missionary families to continue serving in Guatemala rather than returning to the US to find help. She has been instrumental in translating and training this method to be used in Mexico, Guatemala, and other Spanish speaking countries.

Women in the Tuesday Bible study respond with amazement as they realize that God's Word is relevant, understandable and life-changing for THEM. Romans 10:17 "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." It is a joy to watch as they share their faith with others and bear each others' burdens. Their trials are heavy but they are victorious in Christ.
